Designed by the legendary Harry Colt, in 2021 we celebrated our Centenary Year. Our moorland course offers a fine test of golf for all levels of handicap. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have all year round grass tees and championship quality greens.

Clyne is listed among Peter Alliss’s 200 Best Golf Courses in the British Isles. Indeed, Peter’s father Percy Alliss was Clyne’s first professional.

Clyne is in ranked in the Top 30 Courses in Wales by both Golf World and the website Top 100 Golf Courses.

In 2019 Wales Golf named Clyne ‘Golf Club of the Year’.

That year we were chosen to host the Wales Under 16s and 14s Girls and Boys Championships and in recent years have staged the South Wales Girls Championships, the Glamorgan Men’s County Championship, the Glamorgan County Junior Championship and the Welsh Team Handicap Qualifier.

The course enjoys stunning 360˚ views, overlooking Swansea to the east, the Bristol Channel and Mumbles to the south, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons to the north and the Gower Peninsula and Cefn Bryn to the west.

Practice facilities are arguably unrivalled, consisting of an extensive practice area, a putting green, a chipping green, outdoor nets and indoor nets with video recording equipment operated by the Professional.

Our head PGA professional is Matthew Hollis and he has extensive experience gained at clubs across South Wales.

Nestled back from the main Mumbles Road, sea-facing, and literally, a stone’s throw from the sea, with the benefit of easy access to local amenities and the natural outstanding beauty of the area.

We are a 6-bedroom unique concept that can be individually booked or taken as a whole block. Great for large or small bookings. All of the rooms can be converted into twin beds – just let us know when you book

The en suite- rooms are large and individually designed. All offer baths with separate showers Juliet Balconies and home-from-home products; tea and coffee-making facilities, fridges, hairdryers, and ironing boards with irons.
Your booking includes; fresh milk and tea, coffee, and a fridge breakfast including Cereal, fruit juice, yogurt, Welsh cakes, jam, and butter.

Our check-in time is from 3 pm, with check-out at 10.30 am.
You will be able to collect your key from the key lock safe at the front door. The black dongle needs to be swiped over the glass keypad, below on the right, as this will gain entrance to the building.

You will be sent your entry codes 48 hours in advance of your stay, once we have taken full payment.

We have a secure room that you can use for golf clubs and trolleys again just let us know on booking if you would like to use it.
