Founded in 1906, Elgin Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the finest inland courses in the North of Scotland. Measuring 6,458 yards with par of 71 and a Course Rating of 71.4 and a Slope Rating of 124 off the White Medal Tees, the challenging but fair course is a true test of low and high handicap players alike.
Situated in the heart of Moray and Speyside, the golf course is kept in immaculate condition by the green-staff and boasts stunning views over the town of Elgin and the Moray coast to the north and the hills stretching to the distant Cairngorm Mountains to the south.
The Hardhillock Bar and Bistro situated in the clubhouse provides full food and beverage facilities and you will receive a warm welcome from our friendly staff.
Visitors and groups are always welcome at Elgin Golf Club and there are a variety of corporate and individual Men, Ladies and Junior membership packages to suit everyone.
The course was extended to 18 holes in 1924, and golf at this time was so popular the membership rose to 711. The first club professional was appointed in 1934, and the longest serving by far was Ian Rodger who was in post for 27 years, retiring in March 2001.
