Ashbourne Golf Club are a friendly club offering an interesting and varied golf course, stunning views and a good test of golf.
With extensive views towards Thorpe Cloud, Dovedale and The Weaver Hills, Ashbourne Golf Course provides a scenic and enjoyable golfing experience for members and visitors alike. Each hole of this undulating course brings a different challenge, with dog legs, water hazards and elevated holes to test golfers of all abilities.
There is an active membership of around five hundred and the club prides itself in offering a warm welcome to ladies, gentlemen and juniors of all ages and abilities. The club has achieved the England Golf ‘SafeGolf ‘ accreditaition.
In August 2021, Ashbourne Golf Club was also certified as a signatory of the ‘Women In Golf Charter’.
Ashbourne GC is consistently rated in the top 3 courses in Derbyshire.
The white course measures 6,306 yards, with a par of 71. For ladies, it is 5,402 yards and par 72. The course is well drained and is open in all but the most extreme weather conditions. It offers a fair challenge to golfers of all abilites.
We pride ourselves on offering an outstanding experience for all visiting parties, whereby a member of our committee will greet you upon arrival to offer advice on the course and playing conditions, and to ensure the smooth running of your day. We are able to tailor golf and food packages to suit your needs, and can offer availability for societies to book 7 days a week, including limited availability on weekend mornings.
Our Restaurant 1886 (named after the founding year of Ashbourne Golf Club) is open to members and the general public alike. Our excellent Chef, Peter Radford has already introduced some innovative menus and dining experiences and is keen to extend these in the coming months.
