Originally designed in the 1920’s by legendary Scottish golfer and five times Open Winner, James Braid, Budock Vean Hotel’s challenging 9 hole/18 tee golf course is set in mature parkland with the first tee a few paces from the hotel’s golf bag room. The seventh on this interesting course was until recently the longest Par 5 in the county and the ninth green, ‘The Flower Bowl’ is one of the finest short holes in Cornwall. Climatic conditions are so mild that the course plays exceptionally well all year round.

Golf at Budock Vean Hotel is inclusive for staying guests, both hotel and self-catering. The hotel is nestled in 65 acres of sub-tropical gardens and parkland on the banks of the Helford River in South Cornwall. Surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty and with direct access to the South West Coast Path, the hotel also has 2 tennis courts, a snooker room and pool.

Day visitors are welcome to Budock Vean Golf Course. Tee times do need to be booked in advance, and the best way to do this is to give the golf team a call.
