Welcome to Burgham Park Golf Club. Our course, now over 25 years old, has matured into one of the finest courses in Northumberland.

A championship parkland course, we are located in the lovely Northumberland countryside, 20 minutes from Newcastle, a few miles north of Morpeth, just off the A1 – and we promise you a very warm welcome.

The course has panoramic views of the Simonside hills to the west and the coast to the east and is in beautiful rolling countryside. It provides a challenging round for all abilities, with water hazards, some tricky bunkers and tree lined fairways. It is both beautiful and tranquil.

After your round, relax in one of our two bars, where a range of catering from our daily menu to event catering is available – with spectacular views over our 18th hole.

Under new management since April 2022, investment has been (and will continue to be) made into the club to further enhance both the course and the facilities we offer. Come and take a look at the changes we’ve been making.

Whether you are a member of another Northumberland golf club, a club further afield, or you’re on holiday in our wonderful County, you will always be afforded a hearty Northwonderland welcome at Burgham.

Players wanting to have a quiet round on their own to well established societies are all welcome. We do, of course, have times when the course is restricted to our members, but we should have space on any given day to try and accommodate your schedule for a round.

Our traditional pub is located in Weldon Bridge, Longframlington between Morpeth and Alnwick. We have gained an enviable reputation for providing fantastic food for every occasion whether its a quick sandwich at the bar, a relaxing pub lunch with some friends or a romantic meal for a special occasion.

With bedrooms upstairs, an apartment and a holiday cottage at the rear, we can provide accommodation for school holidays, nearby wedding venues and Northumberland staycations.

With two function rooms, we are able to offer space for private events, celebrations of life, birthdays and even intimate wedding receptions.

Our own, private stretch of the River Coquet available to guests on a day ticket basis who are keen to test their angling skills on one of England’s most renowned game fishing rivers.

There are several outstanding golf courses located nearby, Including the likes of Burgham Park and Morpeth.
