Carnoustie is one of the most iconic names in Scottish golf. Situated on the other side of the bay from St. Andrews, golf has been played here since the 1500s, and its first 18-hole links course was opened in 1867.

Since then, it has become one of main courses on rotation to host The Open Championship. It first hosted The Open all the way back in 1931, and will host it again in 2018 for the 147th edition of the tournament.

The Championship Course is Carnoustie’s jewel in the crown.
