Durham City Golf Club is one of England’s oldest inland clubs having been inaugurated in the historic cathedral city in 1887. We are a traditional golf club with modern standards, taking a relaxed and welcoming stance to all members and visitors. The Littleburn course is the Club’s third home within the city and is a delightful parkland course laid out on the banks of the River Browney. Each hole, enveloped in avenues of trees, provides its own test almost in seclusion. The course, having matured dramatically since the Club moved to this site in November 1974, is testimony to the foresight and hard work of all those involved over many years. The culmination of this was being invited to host the English Girls Championship in 2008, a first for the region and true recognition of the quality of the course.
