Enjoy playing our two James Braid designed courses, just 10 miles from the city , but surrounded by stunning views north to Ben Lomond and the Trossachs and south over the city to Tinto Hill.
The Hilton Course- The Hilton Course is a par 70 and 6045 yards. With wide sweeping fairways lined by mixed woodland and well bunkered greens it offers both forgiving and challenging golf with rolling countryside views that open up as the course gradually rises to the 9th green, the highest vantage point. The signature hole, the 17th ,is a par 3,184 yards and has a steep drop from an elevated tee with 360 degree views over hills, loch and moor to a well bunkered green guarded by a burn. It can be anything from a driver to a short iron depending on the wind!
The Allander Course. Shorter than the Hilton at par 69, 5517 yards the Allander course has tighter fairways and some quirky features together with views to the Campsie hills and Craigallian Loch.It crosses the Allander burn twice and the signature hole is the 5th,a par 4 374 yards with a curving dogleg which descends to a green nestled below in a meander of the burn. Your second shot can be brave or cautious!
Both courses are next to the West Highland Way and both are renowned for their diversity of wildlife and number of bird species.
