Beaufort’s 18 hole golf course has been newly redeveloped to the highest of standards by world renowned golf architects McKenzie and Ebert Architects. This 7004 yard Parkland Course is carved from natural terrain and is suited to all standards of golfer.

Nestled at the base of Carruantouhill, Ireland’s highest mountain, and part of the world famous MacGillycuddy Reeks which majestically surround the beautiful Killarney Valley, Beaufort Golf Course is set amongst 200 year old trees, 15th century castle ruins, two lakes and miles of rolling meadows, the course truly is one of the hidden gems of the South West of Ireland.

“I’ve played golf at Beaufort twice before but this visit surpassed even those. It was a beautiful sunny day and the course was in great shape. We had a bowl of delicious vegetable soup before walking 18 holes. The staff is so warm and welcoming that you feel you are a club member. The bar is a refurbished old stable (I think) with a gorgeous putting green out front. You can sit at picnic tables for your lunch and enjoy the serenity of the view. The parkland course has challenges but the wide open fairways are a golfer’s dream. The greens are true and well groomed. All 9 bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated with most having views of lake, mountains and gardens. There is a choice of double, twin, three bedded and family rooms. Some of the bedrooms have doors opening to the garden area and patio where you can enjoy the views and relax. All the rooms are spacious, ensuite, bright and have plenty of storage space. All have hair-dryer, central heating, and direct dial telephones. There are tea-rooms for guests located adjacent to bedrooms and electric blankets are available upon request.
