Established in 1907, Carmarthen Golf Club is a stunning parkland course with amazing mountain views over the Carmarthenshire, Cardiganshire and Powys countryside and scenic views of Carmarthen Bay, views that can only be described as breath taking.
Located some 3 miles from Carmarthen town centre, the course designed by J H Taylor, carves through the Gwili Valley and is considered one of South Wales’ premier golf courses.

Carmarthen Golf Club has previously hosted to the Men’s and Ladies Welsh Team Championship and is a former Welsh Golf Club of the Year.

The clubhouse has an upper-floor gallery view of the golf course and surrounding countryside where you can enjoy a post-game drink from the Taylors bar and/or a traditional Welsh cuisine meal served in the Curlew Restaurant.

The Club has renowned practice facilities to improve your game with a floodlit covered driving range, practice putting green and a practice green for chipping and sand bunker play.

The Ivy Bush Royal Hotel has a long and storied history of welcoming guests in style and comfort. Originally established in 1819 as a coaching inn, this historic venue was the first to link the Gorsedd of Bards with an Eisteddfod.
