Lundin Golf Club

Green Fees From: £64

Lundin Golf Club, near to St Andrews the ‘Home of Golf’, is well known throughout the golfing world as a course of rare quality. Founded in 1868, on a Tom Morris course it was extensively redesigned by five times Open Champion James Braid in 1909.

Fine links fairways and excellent greens have ensured that it has been regularly selected as a final qualifying golf course for the Open Championship. Narrow fairways, bunkers, burns, and ever-changing winds guarantee a testing but rewarding golfing experience.

A magnificent old Tom Morris/James Braid designed golf course. Lundin Links, just 20 minutes from St. Andrews is one of Scotland’s gems. Historically qualifying course to The Open Championship when played in St. Andrews, Lundin Golf Club is renowned for its beautiful greens and some of the most demanding Par 4’s in the game of golf.

A complex links course with open burns, an internal out of bounds (the old railway line), and strategic bunkering, Lundin presents a challenge for the thinking golfer where position from the tee rather than distance will yield just rewards on the scorecard.

The standard scratch score is 71.

Lundin Links is the gateway to the East Neuk of Fife, an attractive area of picturesque old fishing villages and countryside.

The village is on the A915 from Kirkcaldy to St Andrews approximately one hour by car from Edinburgh and one and a half hours from Glasgow. Both cities have airports with national and international flights.
