Rookery Park Golf Club

Green Fees From: £22

Situated on the A146 between Lowestoft and Beccles, Rookery Park Golf Club is easily accessible. The parkland course is a challenging tree lined 18 holes including two ponds on the signature 8th hole. The course measures 6714 yards, par 72 for men and 5939 yards, par 74 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test for all golfers. Experienced pro shop staff, first class caterers and the club’s administration team ensure a warm welcome to Rookery Park and that your day is always one to remember. Rookery Park also has a superb 9 Hole par 3 course, with holes ranging from 75 to 150 yards. The par 3 course provides golfers who are not quite ready for our main 18 hole course, a chance to play an enjoyable round of golf on a well maintained course.

The course was designed by Mr C D Lawrie, a top course architect who was also an advisor to the Royal and Ancient Championship Committee.

The par 72 course has four par 5’s and four par 3’s. The longest hole on the course is the 550 yard fifth; the shortest the 138 yard ninth. Every hole presents a unique challenge.

Built to exacting USGA standards, it has challenges aplenty that will delight, excite, intrigue and, if played properly, ultimately reward golfers of all handicaps and levels of ability.

They welcome all golfers and would love to host you and show you why they are one of the very best courses in the area.

Lowestoft is famous as the home of glam-rock superstars The Darkness, but they aren’t the only thing that is glam about this quaint little town. Indeed, fans of golf will really believe in a thing called love at first sight when they clap eyes on the stunning course at Rookery Park Golf Club.
