Here at St Annes Old Links, they are proud of the 6907 yard, Par 72 Championship Links course. Founded in 1901 it is one of the fine championship courses of England’s north-west coast.
They have hosted Final Qualifying for The Open on several occasions most recently from 2018 to 2022, as well as qualifying for the Women’s British Open and the Senior Open. In addition in 2022 we co-hosted The Amateur Championship with their neighbours Royal Lytham & St Annes.
The Old Links is regularly voted in the Top 100 courses in England, by Golf World, Today’s Golfer and National Club Golfer, and our signature 9th hole was voted by Golf World as the Top 9th Hole in Great Britain. The great Bobby Jones said ‘’it’s difficult to see how you could improve on this’’.
The fairways have been graced by such renowned golfers as Water Hagen, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Sam Torrance, Bubba Watson, Paula Creamer and Rory McIlroy to name but a few.
In addition to the championship course, they have the White course measuring 6646 yards, Yellow Course 6346, Green Course 5984 and Red Course 5638 yards.
