One of Surrey’s premier clubs, the Harry Colt course here is absolutely brilliant.
Surrey is a county packed with more than its fair share of top-drawer golf, and St George’s Hill is a quintessential, classic and classy treat that is always a delight.
Regarded by many as Harry Colt’s crowning glory, St George’s Hill Golf Club has been one of England’s most revered Clubs since 1913. Situated in the heart of Surrey’s heathland, the Club sits within an exclusive private estate, creating an idyllic ambience and sense of wonderment. The undulating fairways, heather, silver birch and stately Scots pine are ever-present across the three loops of nine, each hole individual, leaving an indelible impression on all who visit.
The members, visitors and all who play the 27 hole complex all appreciate the special environment that was created nearly a century ago to provide ‘Country Living’ at its best. The three 9 hole loops of golf, set around one of the very few purpose-built golf clubhouses, offer an almost unique combination when considered with its heathland setting.
The high quality facilities the Club has to offer, the Course, Clubhouse, the Professional’s Shop and tuition, all contribute to making a visit to St George’s Hill an experience that will encourage a return visit.
A warm welcome to all who visit St George’s Hill, and I hope you enjoy the experience and play well.
