Truro Golf Club, with its mature course set in a superb landscape, was founded in 1937. In gently undulating countryside populated by mature trees, the course provides both a challenging test for low handicaps and enjoyable golf for all.

The 18 hole, par 67, 5,372-yard parkland course is maintained in excellent condition by our greens staff.

The combination of attractively set fairways leading to some surprising slopes and borrows on slick summer greens makes for a course to delight members and visitors alike. We also have a putting green, ample parking, a practice area and tuition available with our PGA Professional.

Visitors are warmly welcomed at the club at any time during the week and at weekends, subject to course availability and although a handicap certificate is not mandatory we do request that golfers are able to play to a proficient standard and have good course etiquette and respect for our club rules.

The Driftwood Spars is a traditional Cornish pub, located on the North Cornish coastal footpath and offers 4* AA Guest Accommodation.

The pub presents 15 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower or bathroom facilities and each room offers a telephone, hostess tray and hair dryer. Should you require a cot/high chair these are available on request when you book your room.

Get the day off to a great start with a hearty Cornish Breakfast, served in our sea-view dining room. Grab a newspaper, enjoy the view, plan the day ahead; here at The Driftwood we believe that breakfast should be a relaxed affair.

A cold buffet offers an array of fresh fruit, cereal and granola, yoghurts and pastries. Cooked breakfast choices cover all tastes and appetites, with meat, fish and vegetarian options available.

Don’t forget to try our homemade jam and “Marm-ale-ade”, which is made with our beer and is gently spiced – delicious!

As a dog friendly pub, we welcome your canine friend to join you for your stay at a small additional cost of £7.50 per dog, per night.
Our cancellation policy requires 7 days’ notice otherwise we charge for the first night’s stay.

We have a 2 night minimum stay at weekends and a 3 night minimum stay in school holidays – although it’s always worth giving us ring to see if we can fit you in!
