Founded in 1997, Waltham Windmill Golf Club offers an exciting and challenging round of golf in a beautiful landscaped setting in 125 acres of the Lincolnshire countryside. Our parkland course offers up an exciting challenge of golf suitable for golfers of all skill levels and experience.

The course is made up of two loops of nine holes, enabling golfers to start on either the 1st or 10th holes. The first loop of nine mainly follows the boundaries of the course and the back nine weaves around the middle of the course.

Waltham Windmill Golf Club is mainly parkland with many of the fairways lined with trees, there is also the added interest from nine ponds which come into play on nine of the holes. These hazards provide a challenge not only from the tee but also around some of the greens. The course features a comprehensive irrigation system of greens and tees which together with the USGA greens gives excellent drainage ensuring all year-round play.

Societies may be booked throughout the year and days are tailored to suit individual groups requirement.

Stephen Bennett is the club’s Professional. He has extensive experience as a PGA Professional having won a number of major competitions during his career, playing on the European Tour and coaching County golf teams to name but a few.

He has a well stocked shop with golf equipment at very competitive prices. There is a full club repair service from a simple re-fit to a full custom club fit.

Steve and his staff offer a professional and friendly service and are always on hand to offer advice to all members and non members.

The large clubhouse offers a combination of traditional and modern amenities that combine to offer a warm welcome to all.

Stay in the Marris Barn and the Wagon Shed which comfortably sleeps 16, or enjoy a more intimate break in Marris Cottage or Little Walk Cottage that both sleep 4. The accommodation is perfect for those golfing enthusiasts, with courses such as Grimsby, Woodhall Spa, Cleethorpes, Market Rasen, Kenwick Park, Louth, Waltham, Tetney and Elsham all located nearby. Marris Barn and the Wagon Shed
Is the perfect size for golf groups and societies. This truly spacious holiday home sleeps 16 guests and all the bedrooms are en-suite. There are 7 bedrooms, with one family room sleeping 4 guests or only 2 guests if preferred. Originally the long barn, Marris Barn was sympathetically converted into the ultimate holiday accommodation. It now features an additional contemporary bedroom wing and a luxurious single storey annexe, The Wagon Shed. This has a bathroom with grab rails and is on one level; plus, it’s a great place to escape to if some of your party want some time away from the general hub bub during your stay. Marris Barn also has an exclusive leisure complex with its own private indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room and outdoor hot tub. The leisure complex is connected to the main building – so you don’t even have to go outside if you fancy a swim. Yet it’s away from the main living area. When some of your group are enjoying competitive games including pool and darts, others can still enjoy quiet time to watch a movie.

Marris Cottage
This former shepherd’s cottage combines modern comfort with the charm of original features including an open range fireplace. It has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. It’s within walking distance from Marris Barn – so if you’re planning a group holiday, you could book both.

Little Walk Cottage
This converted brick and pantile range of stables has 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 and has a woodburning stove. It is a short drive away from Marris Barn and Marris Cottage. With original features and a stunning oak and glazed garden room.

If you have a particularly large golfing group, you can book all 3 accommodation which can sleep up to 24 people. There is a table extension available creating a dining experience for 24 guests.
