Founded in 1907, Selby Golf Club is a beautiful par 71 course, built on sand-based, well drained land, making the course playable all year round. Winter golf is particularly popular.
With such great golf course architects working on the course, it is hardly surprising that is as good an example of links golf as you will find anywhere outside the likes of Royal St. George’s and the other major Championships venues.
The Club warmly welcomes new members and visitors of all ages alike to become a part of the Club’s vibrant history and community.
The Club offers a full complement of superb facilities and boasts a fully equipped practice area, with a large putting green and a large practise and driving range which includes four covered bays.
We are a first class society venue, offering a well-stocked and equally well-staffed bar and catering department. We offer rooms available for hire at reasonable rates.

Selby’s Clubhouse can provide you a multitude of options from a place in the sun on our patio overlooking the 18th Green and 15th Tee, Or you may wish sit in one of our comfy chairs in our lounge.
Sky Sports is available in our 19th Bar and Lounge areas. You even have the option of playing Snooker on one of our two championship standard tables.
Our clubhouse is ideally suited for Wakes, Funeral Teas or Christening parties, you can be sure of a warm welcome from all the Clubhouse Team.
On Course we a half-way house open on special days and weekends for your convenience whilst playing the course.
